La Latte Lounge Community Café CIC
In 2024, due to an overwhelming need for a community cafe in Rawtenstall, part of La Latte Lounge became a CIC to facilitate this need. We offer a free, friendly space for community groups to use for social meetups and drop ins, and we can also hold fundraising events as well.
We believe everyone should have access to a safe, warm and comfortable space for as long as they want to stay, without feeling pressured into leaving or spending more than they can afford.
We are also an information hub for the community, with flyers and leaflets about other local groups and services, as well as offering help with completing forms and making phone calls.
La Latte Lounge has been awarded Warm Space funding for the 2 time.

Christmas Dinner Barge Trip 5th and 10th December 2024
We had the Christmas Barge Trip to Skipton and the only word I can describe how the day went was……Superb!!!
Service, food and company was just perfect! The scenery and atmosphere were incredible! What a fabulous way to wrap up our La Latte Lounge Community Cafe CIC trips for 2024 and very much looking forward to the 2025 outings
September 29th 2024
On Sunday 29th September, we held our first Afternoon Tea fundraiser for The Shine on Project. We were joined by the Mayor of Rossendale, The Mayors Consort and her Attendee. It was a lovely afternoon filled with delicious food, great company and trip down memory lane.
York Trip

We recently had our latest trip to York. It was a lovely day out with some beautiful scenery. Thank you to all those involved - this trip wouldn't have been the same without you.

"Amanda opened La Latte Lounge in May 2023 and in the space of a year the café has become an important community hub used as a meeting place by a variety of local groups. She single-handedly manages the café six days a week but is hoping to recruit some volunteers to help out. La Latte Lounge offers a warm, welcoming and space for all, and Amanda has exciting plans for the future to enhance to current community offering."
